Bored at work so I thought I'd ask.
Mossberg 500 or Remington 870?
What are your thoughts on the two?
Any others you'd recommend?
It'll mainly be used for home defense but I'll want to shoot clay sometimes.
Thanks in advance!

Jesse 8 wrote:I love that my mossy's floorplate retractes. That was a big seller for me. However I'm sure it can be trained around and the 870 is the most widely owned shotgun in America. When it comes to accessories the 870 is like the Glock of the shotgun world, anything you want basically can be had, or has been done. The Mossberg is a close second. From my understanding both will serve your grandchildren well. I say shoot em and decide. Good luck.
