I have tried the xd and the glock, and i own a sig p226. I like them all. I just cant decide between them. Is the xdm worth the extra money? I can get a xd in good shape off ksl for 400. xdm is gonna run me about 525 used

If you already have the 226, go with the sig 2022, that way you can keep things constant from gun to gun (trigger, decocker, ect).

I shoot my XD9sc as good as my XDM9C there are a few differences but if money is an issue get the XD and be happy. IMO

You could easily get a NEW xd for $450. I personallpreferer the xd over the xdM. It is a lot more comfortable for me. I also don't feel that the XdM is worth the extra money. However, it does have some cool features, such as the backstraps, the capacity, and the match grade barrel.

I have only shot my glock a total of 34 rounds. got it in the winter and have not had much time to shoot it.

Why do people say its the ak of pistols? They say its durable but not exactly accurate because its a combat gun.

Do you guys agree with that?

Since i have not shot the glock much i cant say how accurate it is. Personally im most accurate with my sig P6.

People who say Glocks aren't accurate probably suck at shooting anyway. :lol2:

A lot of it has to do with the shooter, not the gun. If you shoot SA guns, then shooting a DA will be horrible. For instance, my friend had a Sig p226. He was used to shooting it with the SA trigger. I let him shoot my DAO Sig p250. He didn't hit paper at 10-15 feet. Not even once. You need to get used to the gun you shoot. Even changing from a pistol with a straight grip (like a 1911) to an angled grip (like a Glock) you will shoot differently.

This is why people need to shoot with their guns and make sure they know how they work.

Most pistols are very accurate. Shooters aren't. It takes a lot of work to shoot well. Some pistols aren't accurate, and even with the best shooters it won't fix the issue.

Glock, Sig, XD, Smith & Wesson and many more are all excellent guns. They shoot straight. Shooters are going to need to practice though.

I still need more work at shooting, especially at longer distances. But even so, I'd say Glocks shoot excellent.

What distance were you shooting those at?

Only about 15 feet. I'm working at longer distances.

Who says Glocks aren't accurate?

Not this guy.

I looked up "Ninjas" at Thesaurus.com.

Thesaurus.com: "Ninjas can not be found."

Well played, Ninjas. Well played.

What are your thoughts on the XDM? specifically the 3.8 with the full grip, not the compact version. i have an opportunity to pick up a slightly used one for 500. My buddy who would be selling it paid 615 out the door at impact guns.

Is there any advantage to the XDM 4.5 besides a longer sight radius?

About 2000-2500 rounds, and not a single issue
