(now scheduled) gun law class with Mitch Vilos.....

Postby Korben88 on Fri 20 Jul 2012 3:31 am

I had the chance to chat with Mitch Vilos http://www.firearmslaw.com/ (author Utah Gun Law and Self Defense Laws of All 50 States) the other day, and he proposed doing a gun law class/discussion. It would be geared toward CFP instructors, but open to all and go into stuff not covered in the CFP minimum curriculum.
This is a great opportunity to speak with an attorney who specializes in firearms law.

Nothing has been scheduled yet, I'm just guaging interest, but the cost would be $35-$40.

If you'd be interested let me know, and if there are enough I will set it up.

Thanks,
Troy

I am not an instructor however, I would be interested in taking the class if I can come up with the cash, me being unemployed and all. The knowledge we can garner from Mitch would be awesome to have and he is a very good mind on the subject let alone a good guy all around. This would be great for anyone.

I'm not an instructor either, but I'd LOVE to attend.
I looked up "Ninjas" at Thesaurus.com.

Thesaurus.com: "Ninjas can not be found."

Well played, Ninjas. Well played.

Count me in. I own the last two editions of his Utah Gun Law books and have talked with him and his son on the phone when ordering both the Gun Law and Self Defense Law books for my CFP students (offered at a discount when purchased in bulk).

He's an excellent writer and speaker. He's been a guest speaker at a number of events at Impact Guns. It would be an excellent opportunity for all who attend!!!

I would definitely be interested and so would my wife. Post it up when everything is set. As much notice as possible would be appreciated; we're very busy people and would have to schedule around it.
