Hello from Salt Lake

Hi everyone! It's great to be on the site. My name is Alan and I have a small firearms instruction business called The Gun Tutor. I do basic pistol and Utah CCW classes. I also write a blog about firearms at http://www.theguntutor.com. Periodically I publish small articles on guns, hunting etc. for places like Made Man and Ammoland.

Right now my little project is cutting a video about the Winchester Marksmanship program. I was hoping to get it on my site this week, but my video software just doesn't want to render!

I'm not here to do a big promotion for my classes, but to hear thoughts and to interact with other Utahn's who enjoy shooting,conealed carry, and general gun talk. I would sum up my approach by saying I belive the right to self defense is inherent in the right to life. To me that's the root of the right to effective self-defense tools such as firearms.

I look forward to the discussions and getting to know you all better!

Nice. I haven't shot their 1911 pistols, but someday I hope to have one. I didn't notice the S&W logo on the gun because I was too busy checking out the sweet custom grip panels you added. :shades: Very cool.
