We have a position open in my department. It is a computer technician job. Includes, installing software, troubleshooting software and hardware, and general support. They are looking for people with some experience and I think are preferring A+ certified.

My husband's employer, Spillman Technologies, also has openings for computerish types. They make software for public safety (police, fire, jails, 911 dispatch) so Support isn't a dealing-with-the-public kind of job. (Hubby's a team lead in the Support department.)
