I work for Salt Lake Community College doing enrollment services. OK, I'm employed there, I only actually work a couple hours a week. The rest of the time I read online forums and study HAM radio and CERT stuff. But hey, it's government work - what did you expect?

Our real $ maker is the technology of NFMI (Near Field Magnetic Induction). We have dozens of patents on its capabilities.

I'm intentionally leaving my company's name out because my political views are my own and I don't want something to come down the line 20 years from now and have it bite me in the butt with a future employer.

I've been working at DriverTech in Salt Lake doing account management and sales for the last year, but I recently got a job offer from Adobe, so I'll probably be doing software sales for them here shortly.

DriverTech, eh? I used to be in IT for QSI about 7ish years ago (before the buy-out), and remember when DriverTech was 3-4 people sharing office space with QSI...

Currently I'm at the University of Utah, as a SysAdmin for one of the SoC research institutes. Love being able to carry to work at a university, even if not OC...

I'm curious about the reference to QSI, only because I worked for (a) QSI in Logan twenty some-odd years ago... Back when they had something like a dozen employees.

By chance, do those wireless accessories for police radios work on HAM radios, specifically the HTs?
