Saratoga Springs Wal-mart

Had a good open carry experience hear the other day.

I was back near sporting goods looking for some T-ball gear and a couple of gentlemen and 2 young boys were browsing around as well. One of the boys pulls his dad down to tell him that I have a gun. He replies that I am probably exercising my 2nd amendment right, or in law enforcement. I let them know I was the former.

When I was placing my stuff onto the check stand the checker stared for a good 10 seconds at my side. He then asked something about a permit. I set him straight about Utah being Open carry and you don't need a permit to carry openly, and what benefits you get if you get a concealed permit, ect ect. He thanked me for the info and then he talked about how his dad just picked up a FN 40 cal handgun.

I Love Utah and how it has protected my rights! :dancing:

Great to hear these kinds of experiences. Glad it was a good one for you.
