One of my coworkers keeps telling me that I should donate plasma at Biomat, so this morning I went down there (Taylorsville location) to see what it's all about. Well, I wasn't able to donate today because I didn't have 3 hours, which is what they said they needed for my first visit, but I thought I would share part of our conversation with you all.
After I asked all of my questions about donating plasma, the end of the conversation went like this:
Employee: Are you a police officer.
Me: I'm not.
Employee: Well, just so you know, our management gets REALLY upset when they see firearms.
Me: Good to know.
Employee: If you have a permit to conceal, just keep it concealed and it shouldn't be a problem.
Anyway, I just wanted to let everyone know that Biomat (at least the one in Taylorsville) is not OC-friendly. I think it's another company that believes guns are not safe unless they have a millimeter of fabric draped over them.
By the way, does anyone know of different company that takes plasma?

I have carried in both places and have been frowned on very much. LMAO I did have an encounter like yours at both places though that did get me to carry the rest of the time throught the donation process. Here is how it went.
