Gunfire erupted in Seattle on Wednesday, killing four people, critically wounding two others and setting off a manhunt that forced officials to close nearby schools.

I know I'm not the only one, but the title alone "Gunfire ERUPTED..." "Spasm of shootings.."

Sure....it just erupted. Like a volcano. Cuz you know....it was an act of God - totally unavoidable. Those guns just up and went off and killed people.

It is a terrible thing, yes, and I feel badly for those affected.

Exactly why I turned in my permit application yesterday... I am OCing in the mean time but I want to be completely prepared for something like this.

I started thinking, since it is near the university, that in Utah I think he wouldn't be able to run away. I am glad we are allowed guns in so many places and hope it only gets better in the future.

One of the definitions of eruption is "A sudden, often violent outburst." (There is also "An appearance of a rash or blemish on the skin", but we won't go there.)

My personal favorite 'gun violence' because there are gangs of firearms going about committing acts of violence on unsuspecting innocents everyday, that only gun control can stop. Ugh....
